mysky 1 #1 October 8, 2007 I'm heading to New Mexico to the balloon festival with some friends and was wondering if there are any balloon pilots that allow skydivers to jump. I've never been to this event so I'm wondering rules and regulations that would or would not allow jumping. If anyone knows of any pilots who will be there or any other info I would greatly appreciate it. There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those that know how to count, and those who don't. talon1206 0 #2 October 8, 2007 Your best bet would be contacting the DZ in Belin. Its about 40 miles south of ABQ. The Balloon event does not allow jumpers because of the large number of balloons in the Air at the same time. The DZ does have balloon jumps evey couple months. There are also a few balloon pilots that jump at the DZ "Pilots without Maintainers are just pedestrians with cool jackets and sunglasses"
