Dropzones around Ft. Sill OK

Recommended Posts

So i'll be heading to Ft. Sill for awhile (6-7 months) and was wondering where some good places to jump around there are, as well as if any dropzone in that area needs some video help for tandems. I have some videos i can send/show when i get there. Any pm's would be appreciated.

Skydive Pegasus is about 40 minutes up I-44. It's a pretty nice place and they've got 2 182s at their own strip. I jumped there for a couple months when I was at Fort Sill. All the first time jumpers I saw there did static line. For tandems you'd have to go to OSC (public airport) or Skydive Dallas, about 3 hours away.

What are you going to "The Best Post in the Army" for? Lawton has to be the classiest town in America... :P:S

This isn't flying, its falling with style.

Just saw your post, Pegasus flies only one c-182 and uses antiquated student gear. The high tension power lines split the runway and landing area and are no big deal. It has a old time atmosphere and if you're experienced not a bad place to jump. Skydive Dallas, if you have the money, is the best place to go for altitude, experience, and TURBINES!!
