DZ in Southern Oregon?

Recommended Posts

There are no 'real' dz's in southern Oregon. Beagle still does jump though but no students and very rarely. I think you have to coordinate jumpers and the pilot before hand. They do do a Mother's Day boogie though every year that's quite fun. Mostly older jumpers, no younger crowd. Also the landing area is pretty treacherous compared to most dzs. They land right in front of the hanger on a narrow strip of dirt bordered on both sides by trees. Definitely an experience but you won't get in many jumps.

Sooo...After having been thoroughly chastised this weekend for having called the Beagle crowd an 'older crowd' I'm retracting my statement. I'll say instead that's it's an experienced crowd. :D

You'll hear some of the craziest stories ever there!

And yes, Mike and Rick, I know I'm getting up there too:P
