SeaAndSky 0 #1 January 4, 2008 Looking for a DZ or event in a warm location near good scuba diving open water. Last year was our first trip for a group of skydiving friends & spouses. Trying to start an annual tradition and hoping at least this year to combine the trip with some overdue scuba. Wanting to travel Feb-April. Any suggestions?"Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds" - J.G. Magee Jr.

grimmie 186 #3 January 4, 2008 www.skydivebelize.com Check out the Blue Hole jump, a one of a kind skydive/scuba dive experience! All slots are taken for this year.
SeaAndSky 0 #4 January 4, 2008 It looks fantastic. But several of us are B & C license holders with 150-300 jumps. Any other suggestions?"Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds" - J.G. Magee Jr.
HALO1 0 #5 January 4, 2008 Yup... Hawaii. We have two companies operating at the same landing area. You can jump seven days a week here (barring weather). Don't be sexist… Broads hate that.
Martini 0 #6 January 4, 2008 Try any dropzone in western Washington. Excellent jumping and world class diving. Warm is really a relative term, the water will be at least 10 degrees above freezing though.Sometimes you eat the bear..............

SeaAndSky 0 #8 January 4, 2008 That would make about 260 for me this year. Doable, but tight."Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds" - J.G. Magee Jr.

mdf 0 #10 January 5, 2008 Depending on how close you want to be to the water when you land, you might consider Skydive Sebastian, Skydive Miami, or Keywest Skydiving. There are other areas much farther for you (which sometimes = exotic). The Puerto Rico Freefall Fest is primo.
timber 4 #11 January 5, 2008 Come to Emerald Coast Skydiving near Pensacola, Fl. We now have a Caravan for the next several months. We do some awesome beach jumps to the Flora-Bama Bar. Most of us are avid scuba divers with boats. We can take you out to dive the aircraft carrier Oriskany. Blue Skies, Timber
SeaAndSky 0 #12 January 7, 2008 I'll check out the ones in FL. I was hoping for exotic, but less travel time is a plus. From now through April, what's the weather like? Hurricanes? Good warm air for the beach, or is it still cold/chilly?"Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds" - J.G. skymama 37 #13 January 8, 2008 Jan-April is the best time to be in Florida. Hurricane season doesn't start until June. We've had a very warm winter so far, most days have been in the 70's with not much rain. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
