Orange1 0 #1 February 16, 2008 Before you flame me, I tried the dropzone locator but -- not being from the US I am not entirely clear on where all the different DZ's are in this area -- it seems like at least one of the CT ones is close to Boston for example which i think is the other side of CT (which may or may not be the closest to Stamford)... so after all that rambling, any recommendations as to DZs would be welcome. Ideally looking for somewhere with a good RW vibe that is friendly to newer jumpers! AliMac 0 #2 February 17, 2008 I live in Ridgefield CT and jump at The Ranch in Gardiner NY, its about an hour from me so it would be just about an hour and a half or so for you. druvaughn 0 #3 February 17, 2008 She is right... The Ranch in Gardner NY or CPI in Ellington are your 2 best options. 95, 287, 87 for Gardner or 95, 91 for Ellington. Both are probably the same amount of time in the car. Yes, you are definitely not that close to Mass. Traffic depends on the day and both are open on the weekends over the winter. Wish you the best.
