According to a message I just recieved Northwest Skydivers will resume operations at Barker Airfield near Mount Vernon, WA on Saturday May 12. I assume that Jim will be flying his most excellent Porter but I haven't verified that. A very beautiful and low key place to skydive, always good vibes.

According to the post on the Seattle Skydivers web site, it'll be a Cessna 206, and the fun starts at 3 PM on Friday May 9th, and goes all weekend through May 11th. (May 12 is not a Saturday, so that must have been a typo).

mmmm.....just in time for us to come over and jump. We will be over late saturday or early sunday.....just in time to play in the sky.

Just got the news that because of all the rain, opening weekend has been pushed off to May 16-18 to give the runway another weekend to dry out from the quite thorough soaking it's received this spring with all the rain we've gotten.

Jumps will be $25 for up jumpers $225 for tandems. Discounts provided for up-jumpers who bring out tandems.

Saturday May 17th 8:00am earlybird special 1st 2 loads $20 jump tickets (you must manifest by 8:00)
Sunday May 18th same as Saturday 8:00-dusk

There will be a BBQ on Friday for $5.00 for food and $5.00 all you can drink BEER
Saturday we will have Mexican food all you can eat for $10.00 and all you can drink BEER for $5.00
Sunday there will be BBQ all day Hot dogs, Burgers

mmm...we will be missing out but will keep up to date on jumping there....it is close to our boat and all.
