repcool 2 #1 May 2, 2008 This Brit is hitting the road the end of June making a B line to Perris for the 4th July boogie. I figured I would go a few days early and get a few days at Elsinore and Skydive San Diego. My theory is that all my landings in Colorado will treat me well when I get to sea level. If I do those 3 drop zones am I going to later learn I missed another "must do" in the area? Any advice and offers of beer venues much appreciated. I am planning on camping. Thanks Simon
ltdiver 3 #2 May 4, 2008 Quote Any advice and offers of beer venues much appreciated. Since you'll be traveling between Perris/Elsinore and San Diego you'll be in line to stop by some nice little breweries. I'd PM billvon for directions as he knows of some nice little tucked away ones that most don't know about (and have some nice brew). Also, if you want to visit a larger brewery I'd highly recommend The Stone Brewery. Bill and Amy introduced a bunch of us to it last year. They've made a beautiful little arboretum from a water reclaim basin and built the brewery around it. Very very nicely done and well worth the stop over. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Elisha 1 #3 May 5, 2008 Perris is NOT at sea level...at a little over 1000 ft. But I'm sure that compared to Colorado it might feel that way. I'm sure at that time it will certainly seem drier than Colorado.
