jdobleman 0 #1 June 20, 2008 Not as Prestigious as it's older brother, The Lodi Tracking Contest, but possibly next in longevity, this years Byron Tracking Contest will be held Saturday, July 12th at Bay Area Skydiving. There will be an Open Class for 300+ jumps and a Novice Class for <300 jumps. If there is interest there could be a separate Women's Class and a HeavyWeight Class. Entry is $5. Since tracking is a skill that can save your life, this isn't just about competition. All skydivers can learn to track better. FFI: madjohn or BayArea Skydiving Main goals in life: Be on the "Jumpers Over Eighty" (JOE) World Record and attend the Lost Prairie Boogie once after I'm gone.
