VERSLECIEL 0 #1 July 17, 2008 Hi - I'm a skydiver living in Paris, France for the moment (originally from USA) - I've been looking all over the place for dropzones/wind tunnels in or near Paris - I know there is Aerokart for the wind tunnel - but is there any way to get there without a car? That's my main issue - I've got no car here and all the DZ's or tunnels seem to be a bit out of the way? Any ideas??? Thanks!
rhys 0 #2 July 17, 2008 We are catching a train to Mauberge from paris in two weeks, i'll let you know how easy it is once we have done it, it is only an hour or 2 from what I have been told. Jump tickets are Euro25 ($40) though which is our biggest concern. over 3 x what we are paying here in lodi."When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will see peace." - 'Jimi' Hendrix
Ralph_W 0 #3 July 18, 2008 Best thing to finddropzone in France is wuza.com Go to "zone des Saut" in the Menue. HTH RalphSilence is golden. www.bt-ag.ch
virgin-burner 1 #4 July 18, 2008 haha, i dont think lodi's a reference, i'm not saying it shouldnt be, but that price is really very normal in europe.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. HighJB 0 #5 July 21, 2008 You can go to Aerokart using the suburbs train RER. I think the path (line #, stations ...) is described in Aerokart Web site. If you want to get some lift to one DZ around Paris , you can post on wuza.com to get some proposals. I heard that the Lille DZ can be accessed by train (TGV)+ bus quite easily JBça passe ou ça frotte
