Skydiving at Las Vegas

There are a lot of older threads, but I'm planning a winter holiday trip from eloy to the west coast and want to stay 2 nights in Las Vegas also.
Whats up with the dropzones in Vegas? Are funjumps available or do they only operate for $$-tandems? What kind of aircraft?

Only one place to go...MESQUITE..Get in your ride.. and head north on Interstate 15 about 90 minutes.

In the winter they have a Caravan.. and Brad runs a kick ass drop zone..

...and the scenery is gorgeous. They sit on a plateau so the canopy ride is really breathtaking. This is coming from a girl that has lived in the Southeast and all them trees for the past 6 years.

I love the great grass and the swoop ponds.... never seem to be able to land over there though..

I've lived, jumped, and taught Skydiving in Las Vegas since 1991. Skydive Mesquite is the only "real" Dropzone in the area, where recreational skydivers are encouraged to have fun.

I went to Mesquite last November, was my 3rd week Skydiving, and I had 28 jumps. Can't wait to go back again this November.
