skydude89 0 #1 October 11, 2008 Ok i have 3 weeks holidays starting now and wana go some where in california skydiving. Is there any Dz;'s that have a place to crash or cheep motels close by. I dont wana rent a car either so a dz close to restaurants and grocery store would be nice as well.Or any body have room they wana rent me and do some skydiving. guppie01 0 #3 October 12, 2008 Elsinore. It has a bunk house, showers (newly remodled), kitchen. Most places are within a mile walking distance... get to know anyone at the DZ and most will more than likely offer you a ride. Perris is also great. They too have a bunk house/Ihop (Int'l House of Parachutes), rest, bar, and the walk to town (especially at night) isn't even recommended. ladydyver 0 #4 October 13, 2008 Elsinore is my favorite....and is really close to Perris...so you could hit both DZs and the wind tunnel. Another place to consider is San Diego - I myself haven't been but have heard a lot of positives about the DZ. I myself will be down in Elsinore the 5-10th of november...so if you are there at the same time pm and we can jump! skydude89 0 #5 October 15, 2008 Thanx for all the info and advice everybody, I just bought my airline tickets, I fly to Lax on the 22nd o october and will be flying back home on october 30th. So i will be phoning elsinore in the morning and hopefully making arrangements to stay and jump there, maybe make a day trip to perris if anybody else is heading that way and will let me tag a long. Thanx lisaH for all the info and the answering of my questions. Is there a bus i can take from the airport to elsinore by any chance??? Darrell. Are you going to Perris or Elsinore? There are always people going from one to the other so you won't have a problem with finding a ride.
