Florida Skydive Center (Lake Wales)Visit

Aloha Floridians,

I'm flying into Orlando from the Black & Gold Boogie in Charlotte and hanging out at FSC 11-20NOV to attend the Excel Skydiving AFF Instructor course and to do some fun jumping. I'm looking for recommendations on a place to stay (other than a tent) as the Brits have all the trailers rented out on the DZ. Any recommendations? Also any recommendations on transpo from the Orlando airport. Rental car for the full deal is an option but I'd rather use the cash for lift tickets.

I've stayed at the Green Gables motel a bunch of times. It's perfectly fine. It's near the DZ, but it's not walking distance. Pretty sure they have a skydiver discount.

Second on the Green Gables. Super 8 is closer, but a dive.

Thanks, Green Gables has a decent rate. I was hoping to get by without a car for 9 days but a good night's sleep is worth a lot in school. Thanks for the notes. If you're ever out visiting Oahu drop me a line.
