spindlee 0 #1 January 3, 2009 How easy is it to do a balloon jump in the US? I was planning a trip out to a US dz this year and was wondering if any dz's in particular have balloons more than others. SiIf in doubt, whip it out...
NWFlyer 2 #2 January 3, 2009 I believe Skydive Arizona has balloon jumps regularly available in the "high season" (somewhere around the October-April time frame). Don't quote me on those dates - best bet is to contact the DZ directly to confirm."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
skyjumpsteve 0 #3 January 3, 2009 Balloons are scheduled for the Everglades Boogie in Clewiston. Last year was a blast. They had helicopters and tailgates as well. Balloons are relatively common at big boogies. Check ads online or in Skydiving publications. You can also search in this forum and you will see posts every now and then about Ballloon jumps..... http://www.skydivefl.com/Everglades.htm

ASTKU 1 #5 January 6, 2009 Quotewondering if any dz's in particular have balloons more than others. Skydive Arizona is doing balloon jumps any day of the week either at 7:30AM or 4:00PM. All they need is 4 people to committ. The balloon holds up to 8 and they will do up to two loads per time slot. ($75 to 5000ft)
