Heatmiser 0 #4 March 23, 2009 Ill have a rental car, and 1 whole day, so I don't mind driving up to a couple hours. What you say is reflective of your knowledge...HOW ya say it is reflective of your experience. normiss 800 #5 March 23, 2009 Depending on where you are in Orlando - expect an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half well worth the trip to me. Rental gear is available, Super Otters are the jump planes.
SARLDO 0 #6 March 23, 2009 Quote Quote Im in town in May for one day, alone, and want to make some FL jumps. Which DZ would you go to? I second that motion on ZHills Thirded - Go to Z-hills. Heatmiser 0 #7 March 23, 2009 I may be able to squeeze two. Does z-hills have bunkhouses? Also, I don't jump with an AAD, (other than my left hand) is that a problem there? What you say is reflective of your knowledge...HOW ya say it is reflective of your experience. normiss 800 #8 March 23, 2009 No but there are rental trailers. Call them for information. There is no requirement for an AAD for licensed jumpers. You can print a waiver from the web site: http://www.skydivecity.com
jraf 0 #9 March 23, 2009 If you are in for 1 day definitely do Deland. Closer to Orlando and remeber that off seasson is coming, so ZHills will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Also, deland has a PAC 750, so they do not need the minimum Otter fill to put up a jump run.jraf Me Jungleman! Me have large Babalui. x46255 0 #10 March 23, 2009 If it is a weekend, I'd go to Sebastian...best views in Florida and great all around DZ. Any other day, I'd have to say Z-Hills.

ladydyver 0 #12 March 23, 2009 I really like sebastian, zhills and lake wales ---- that may not be helpful but all three are great places to jump. chaoskitty 0 #17 March 26, 2009 Theres also a tunnel in Orlando. Depending on how close you live to another tunnel, that might be a good thing to take advantage of. You can jump close to home, right?

Dreadswooper 0 #21 April 3, 2009 Z-hills is a nice establishment. But Deland is only 45 mins from Orlando! Plus all the leading manufacturers are there. Full restaurant, liquor bar. and bunk houses!-Darin
