tetra316 0 #4 April 8, 2009 Call them. When Bob Dawes sold the place I understand it went to more a call before you go kind of place. I would imagine that they do not jump during the week as they all have regular jobs.
totter 2 #5 April 8, 2009 If you are able to jump, bring warm clothes. The high in Anchorage today is 38 F.

kmfreefly 0 #7 April 8, 2009 Thanks, Been jumping all winter at Skydive Wissota, WI. I still have my "winter belt" on to keep me warm
EvilEagle 0 #8 April 10, 2009 I emailed them about jumping this month. I'm rolling up to Alaska on Wed of next week and I'll be there till May 2nd. I'm all about some winter jumping up there, but they said (as you would expect) that it will depend on the weather. I'm still torn on whether to take my gear with or not. Sletzer 3 #9 April 10, 2009 I heard they have an awsome "glacier jump" that they'll dump you off over a galcier and you land kinda near it. But like you said, it aaaaaaaall depends on the weather.... and having enough people to jump. I was up there last summer and the weather didn't cooperate . Hope you guys have fun! I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
grimmie 186 #10 April 11, 2009 http://www.clubparisrestaurant.com/ Stop in here for dinner and say hi to Stan Selman, the owner. He is a long time jumper and knows everyone in Alaska.
Beachbum 0 #11 April 13, 2009 We drove up there after Lost Prairie one year. Even if you don't go do a glacier jump, the view from the air at the dz itself is pretty spectacular. I'd vote "take the gear"!As long as you are happy with yourself ... who cares what the rest of the world thinks?
EvilEagle 0 #12 April 14, 2009 Well, I'm leaving tomorrow and the forecast isn't looking good enough to warrant dragging all my gear up there. Guess I'll be snowboarding...
