jjohl 0 #1 June 16, 2009 Hey, I'm new to skydiving and just had my first tandem skydive, and I am now wondering where I should take my aff classes either at Skydance in davis or skydivesac in Lincoln. They are both about the same distance from me skydance being like 20 mins more, but other than that which one would be a better place for me to get my A license? soulbabel 0 #2 June 16, 2009 You will need to do at least 25 jumps to get an A license, so you can try both dropzones to figure out which one suits you better. You don't have to do all your jumps at the same place.
JohnRich 4 #3 June 16, 2009 It's a good idea to do all your jumps at the same place, so you can be familiar with their instructors, their gear, their plane, and their procedures. If you go jumping around to different places, it complicates your learning with new variables.
skybytch 273 #4 June 16, 2009 Either one. Both have good instructors and friendly experienced jumpers. Go hang out at each one for a few hours on a weekend day, talk to a few people and see which vibe you like best.
