Best place for a first time in Chicago?

After being told by everyone I know that I've got to give it a try, I've got to go. So looking for a good place first a first tandom jump in the Chicago area! Any recommendations? Maybe Skydive Chicago or Chicagoland Skydiving Center? Just me and the girlfriend, both first timers looking for a great experience.

I've jumped at both - I like both for different
reasons.

The short answer - Skydive Chicago. Hands down.

The long answer - I call Skydive Chicago home and wouldn't have it any other way. It's a huge dropzone, always someone to talk to, always someone to learn from. Chicagoland Skydiving Center I'm not as familiar with. They're a lot smaller, but still have the family feel. I think you'll be happy at whichever one you end up at. If you have some time, go visit both of them first and see which you like better. The people make the dropzone, and that's something you kind of have to feel out for yourself. Whichever you choose, don't skip the video. You only do your first jump once and the worst thing ever is getting on the ground and thinking "damn, wish I had that taped..."
