Bolas 5 #2 July 18, 2009 Are they allowing B-24 jumps? Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.

maxtreme 0 #4 July 18, 2009 QuoteAre they allowing B-24 jumps cannot say... yet this was just an idea...we can always ask... i talked with those guys(Ken Miles) in Z-hills january... about B-17 and they just told me to get 10 jumpers ...and they will fly. it was just after the Xmas boogie and i couldn't get enough people in that short of time... unluckly most of the people were gone home already... will see this time
Bolas 5 #5 July 18, 2009 Last I knew the FAA had classifed the B-24 differently than the B-17 so jumping wasn't allowed. B-17 jumps rock!!! Nothing like jumping out of the bomb bay doors... At the bar afterwards someone asked us about it and of course the infamous whuffo ? came up... Looked the guy right in the face and said, "You kidding me? The god damned plane's over 70 years old!!! No way I'm landing in that..." Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
Pokerstar 0 #6 July 18, 2009 I would drive to Chicago to jump out of a B-17 if my foot is healed in time. Damn Damn DamnFortunately, I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug, uh, regimen to keep my mind, you know, uh, limber. --- The Dude ---

Sletzer 3 #8 July 27, 2009 Out of those planes??? It would be very, very, very expensive. At summerfest in general? I'm sure they could accommodate.I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
