i do them all the time, at least 4 or 5 a month, i haven't experienced anything abnormal yet, other than a really soft opening.

I have a lot of hop & pops logged with my Stiletto and a few on a Heatwave. I just made sure I had good body position, gave it 2-3 seconds and pitched.

It snivels a bit more and you may have to fly the opening a while longer but I've never had a problem.

I'll second what everyone is saying about body position. Even on a Hornet, I have been lazy about body position at pull time and wound up with a bunch of twists. It sucks to be flat on your back at 14 grand fighting with your risers.
