Hi Everyone! I'm new here! I did my first jump last August as a charity event for the American Cancer Society and raised $15,000! So.... I'm doing it again this August, and hope to make it GLOBAL!!! Who else wants in?? You can set up a profile at www.leapforlife.org and take donations, and the money will go directly to the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LiveStrong). Many of us have lost family or friends to cancer.... PLEASE support this initiative and SPREAD THE WORD! LEAP FOR LIFE!!!

Congrats on the jump Rick (and a good cause!). We have had a Relay-for-Life team a number of years that is primarily skydivers, but I don't think anyone would donate to get us to jump, since we do it all the time anyway. Now, there might be some willing to donate to get us to NOT jump ... ;) ... LOL!!

As long as you are happy with yourself ... who cares what the rest of the world thinks?

Thanks! But ya know, Leap for Life might be a great way for you to get people who've NEVER jumped before (but kind of wanted to) to come down to your local drop zone. Everything's different when a worthy cause is part of the bargain. And you might find neighbors and coworkers (especially those who've seen cancer close up) might donate a few bucks to your jump simply because it's a good and right thing to do. And please try to get your local DZ to recognize the good publicity value of it all, too!
