webracer 0 #1 April 7, 2010 D.E. and myself (both of SDC notoriety) are looking into (seriously) starting a turbine dropzone at the municipal airport in Goshen Indiana. The dropzone will be called Goshen Skydiving Center (GSC). Planned opening is 4/1/2011, but we hope to open weekends after the US Nationals (at SDC) if possible. We have a temporary website up (http://www.GoshenSkydivingCenter.com). Please make a comment in the guestbook and let us know what you think. We are researching demographics info to make sure we have a solid business plan (so we can be there forever). Initially, our primary aircraft will be a Cessna 208B (caravan), but we will have Super Otters for special events and from time-to-time.Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility. webracer 0 #5 April 7, 2010 We have a pretty clear understanding of the operations of the 182 DZ previously there (actually there was another DZ operation there as well (prior to the one you mention)). We are committed to start the new business with turbine lift power, something not available within a 100+ mile radius. There is a large contingency of experienced jumpers in and around this area, many of which work in the local industries.
