Mangiapane85 0 #1 July 8, 2010 Just wondering how many missouri residents frequent this site, if any. I live in Festus, very near the Festus Memorial Airport DZ and was wondering if anyone else has been to this one? Or any in missouri for that matter.-FEAR IS TEMPORARY...REGRET IS FOREVER! -"People living deeply have no fear of death"- Anais Nin
skydivekc 0 #2 July 8, 2010 I would say there are quite a few Missouri resident skydivers that frequent this site and or DZ's in the state.

Mangiapane85 0 #4 July 8, 2010 Thanks alot for the link. That place is quite a bit more expensive than the one i will be going to. 200 bux for a tandem jump seems pretty steep. I'm paying 160 for my first IAD jump and 76 bux for each jump afterwards. The only thing is is that the max alt at my dz will be 10,500 and that one goes to 13. I am considering trying out the dz down in rolla mo though.-FEAR IS TEMPORARY...REGRET IS FOREVER! -"People living deeply have no fear of death"- Anais Nin
garymccutchen 0 #5 July 11, 2010 You can't go wrong with the DZ in Festus. The DZO's are great and very safety conscious. Flying V as well as Hannibal are also good choices. Don't know much about the DZ's on the western side of the state.

I'm from St. Charles, and jump primarily at Archway, but have been to Festus and the Chicago DZ's in this area too. Haven't been to Van's place in Mid Mo yet as I have been busy with my 4-way team. vicryder 0 #8 July 25, 2010 Hi fellow Missourian. I've jumped at Vandalia, Il, Festus, Mo. and Flying V ranch in Williamsburg, Mo. Got nothing bad to say about any of them. They're all good places to jump. Gotta say I love the laid back atmosphere at Flying V, and at Festus. No tension, not crowded, like visiting friends. Pick one with the program you like and the price you can live with and go for it. All good choices.
