Sebastian in Winter

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how busy Skydive Sebastian is during december?

I am planing on spending a week to a week and a half there finishing up my A license and then getting as much jumps in as i can while visiting.

i am planing on getting there on a Monday. Is it busy there during the week or do I have to worry about not getting a lot of jumps due to not enough people jumping?

Im coming from Ohio so i am just trying to get the most for my money.

Thanks

if you are looking to get allot of jumps go to zhills, sebastian is beautiful and a great dz, but during the week is usually a lil slow. zhills has been "invaded" by the europeans already. if u are gonna be here for a few days hit zhills during the week and go to sebastian on the weekend

I'm not sure about the slow activity in sebastian statement ....the people from chicago are bringing two otters and there is a Helicopter Bell 407 already in sebastian it will be there for the winter for the chicago invation I seen lots of people as this weekend is the Keys boogie this boogie starts the winter season. Zhills is also a good choice.. I rather be in sebastian they have better places to go out at night and other actives in case is too windy. Wind affects Sebastian as well as Zhills just my 2 cts

Again both are GREAT DZ's greta people in them great talent. For what I know sebastian will have two Otters and there is a cool helicopter (Bell 407) there already. Sebastian will be "invaded" by the Chicago crew that will keep loads going all week, parties are off the hook in both DZ's.... me personally I will choose sebastian just cuz there are more places to party after a day of jumping Capt Hirams a restaurant with live music by the Inlet is nice but thats just one place that stands out. Also if you are planning on staying during the winter you have to think of things to do when the weather dont cooperate, I know you can go kayaking, and now Lyle is opening a Kitesurfing shop if you feel like trying it. Both DZ's have great Freeflyiers. I'm not sure about age or flying tendencies on each I find someone to jump anywhere I go whether is FF or Belly. Again just my two cts. I'll be visiting Zhills Thanks Giving week when I'll be on my way Deer hunting North Fl. Hope it helps.

Check both DZ's websites and facebook pages and decide

So....what are you sayin'? (I know we've never met but I know you do get over to Zhills occasionally and you must be basing that opinion on something.)

I think Sebastian has a younger crowd. There's not really a hidden message or agenda there. ;)

You don't need an agenda to have an opinion. But I do agree that there really are a bunch of old coots over at Zhills.... not everyone of course, but they know who they are. :)

I love both for different reasons....last year actually hit both boogies - we have a timeshare in sebastian at that time so that is where we will be. We arrive new years eve...so if you are there look me up, I am not that difficult to find ;)
