AliMac 0 #1 December 20, 2010 I'm flying into Seattle on Christmas day and will be there until the 4th of Jan, bringing my gear in hopes the weather may be good for a jump or two... Thinking Snohomish is my best bet... anyone around?
StarFlyer 0 #2 December 20, 2010 I jump regularly at Skydive Snohomish but they've sent an email they'll be closed the next two weeks for the holidays - they'll be opening again Sunday, Jan 2nd. This time of year in the Northwest you should also call ahead to make sure they're jumping - low ceiling, rains, or winds can be problematic. Here are the contact details for them: Skydive Snohomish web: http://www.skydivesnohomish.com email: skydive@harveyfield.com Phone: (360) 568-7703 Weather permitting, I'll be out there jumping Jan 2nd - hope you can make it! Amazon 7 #6 December 22, 2010 QuoteI'm going to be staying in Pioneer Square... how far is Kapowsin and are they open the 26th or anytime during the week? I believe they are going to be open according to their website. http://www.skydivekapowsin.com/ Here are Directions Or you can take the Seattle to Bremerton Ferry . The ferry terminal is only a few blocks away from the Square. Either way go EARLY before the traffic starts... and yes.. even weekends have a tad bit of traffic around Seattle. Just give them a call at Kapowsin, I bet if there is clear weahter they will be flying tandems and up jumpers.
