just for grins ... Native Texan Texas Star - June 11th at SDH

Recommended Posts

ok folks ... things are still very loose, but so we have something to shoot for, setting it for May 21 for now. If you're a native, have the experience to be on 20 ways, and are interested, holler! RD Latimer will organize the jump itself. I'm going to look into some BBQ for after, and possibly even a commemorative t-shirt (been mentioned to me ... have to think about that one!). Cost would just be the jumps plus video (not much per slot..., in other words), plus food, and the shirt "IF" (meaning, if enough of y'all want to go to the expense, I'll try to get one made up!). Also need video ... not necessarily native, but that would be cool if you are! So far, I have about 8 pretty firm folks ... final decisions will be up to RD, of course. If we end up with extras, then perhaps we'll try multiples, with different folks! Please pass this on to anyone who might want to come play ... thanks! You don't have to be participating to show up, have fun, and eat ... but if you do plan to eat, please let me know!

ok y'all ... Due to availability of folks, we've changed it to June 11th. If one of you mods happens to see this, please change the date in the title for me ... it won't allow me to edit! We still need 4 or 5 more people ... you native Texans come on out and show your Texas spirit!!

edit to add ... here is the FB event:

Well, we've got SDH folks, Spaceland folks, a few from San Marcos, at least one from West Texas ... nobody from Temple or the Dallas area yet, I don't think. Where are y'all?? ... ;) ... If you're a native, come play with us!
