fudd 0 #1 August 27, 2002 I think these kind of jumps sounds a little too dangerous. With this type of contact it's possible to kick out the bulls reserve handle, and you are sitting on top of the container. I don't know if it's just me being paranoid, but I'm not at all comfortable with someone over or under me in freefall. Planned or not. Pins sometimes come loose in the airplane, and even during tight exits. I see that tight loops, good flaps, new velcro etc. can make these jumps safer, but how safe is it really? This weekend I said no to doing a wheel exit (With me on my back on my rigg rolling out. holding the legs of the person diving over me holding my feet. This was from a tailgate exit). Even though my loop is tight, I just won't risk it. Am I paranoid, too safty oriented (is that possible?), or just a safe jumper??? There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
SkydiveMonkey 0 #2 August 27, 2002 I've done a rodeo and it's one of the most fun jumps I've done. I don't think it's a problem as long as you have a good FF friendly rig. I have no problems with it, but that's my choice. (Forgot to add that I also have a reserve pad instead of a metal handle).____________________ Say no to subliminal messages

Some people do only solo flat-flying. Some are BASE-jumpers. Most fall somewhere inbetween. Just stck to what you feel comfortable with, I don't think you can be too careful...
