NWFlyer 2 #2 October 16, 2011 Definitely check them all out to find the one that's right for you (you can also search the forums here - there have been a lot of threads about the various DZs in Northern California). Your profile indicates you're interested in RW - definitely check out the calendar at SkyDance in Davis - about twice a month there are organized RW events for all skill levels. It's a good way to get to know the locals and get some fun, well-organized jumps in, too.
