cbuffalino 0 #1 January 28, 2012 I'm going to be in the Miami area in February and was wondering if anyone has ever been to this DZ? http://www.miamiskydivingcenter.com Website doesn't have much information on aircraft, or DZ about the DZ in general and it's not listed on DZ.com's list of places to jump. If anyone has ever been there let me know what you know please.Never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about.

captain1976 0 #3 January 29, 2012 No, I haven't personally but based on the reviews, it looks like a nice place http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/dropzone/review.cgi?ID=316You live more in the few minutes of skydiving than many people live in their lifetime
Amazon 7 #4 January 29, 2012 Quote Looks like a tandem factory website. I dropped in there when I spent a month in FL back in 2009.. after Fitz. There were plenty of fun jumpers there I did my first jump course there almost 40 year ago Spence
wwelbon 0 #5 January 30, 2012 Miami Skydiving Center is a Tandem Factory based at Tamiami Airport. They jump a 182. I have never jumped there but from what I hear the landing area is not great and a pretty far van ride away from the airport. The dropzone everyone is talking about is http://www.skydivemiami.com They are located about 30 mins south of Tamiami at the Homestead Airport. They fly a caravan and have a nice landing area near the dz. They do a lot of tandems, but they have a very friendly staff, are very safe, and there are usually plenty of fun jumpers to jump with on the weekends! I have jumped there many times and would suggest it if you are in the area! -Will -edit- turns out I don't know how to make it clicky
chriswelker 0 #6 February 1, 2012 Skydive Miami rocks! Fast climbing plane, very professional staff, and awesome views of the coast.
cbuffalino 0 #7 February 17, 2012 Thanks everyone for the info. After some deliberation I have decided to go to skydive Miami. I'll let you all know how it goes. I'll be doing a re-currencyQuote course there as well as as many jumps as possible to get me closer to my A and work on some skills after a two month layoff here in New York. Thanks again!
