I will admit that I didn't know about the skyride scam until reading about it just know, and can see where the red flags went up after checking out the very bottom of Justins website. If your having doubts about Justins integrity, simply go to his only website and see for yourself. If it's not clear enough by "Chattanooga Skydiving Company" at the top of the page, simply click on "Directions". How is this misleading? I met Justin this Wednesday at his new DZ that he is extremely excited about. I met a couple fun jumpers there and did a sunset jump from his 182. It was a great time, and the atmosphere was just what you would expect from a small DZ with friendly people. I can understand the bad juju people are getting from Justin from his posts, but can also imagine how defencive i would be over my big investment and hard work if I were him. As far as ripping people off goes, Justin bought us all some beer, and after I reminded him that I owe him for a jump (to 11.5) he replied, "oh ya... you got $20?". If this is ripping people off I can get used to it! Some of my skydiving friends and I plan to be there on Sunday and hope some more fun jumpers make it out! see you there! stratostar 5 #40 March 24, 2012 When I called & asked, he stated he had a contract from them but had not had the time to fill it out sign it and return it to Cary, but he could see doing business with them in the very near future, two weeks or so. So my take from that call was Justin has no problem doing business with Cary and his scam companies at his new dz. Justin likes to call us all haters, in fact Justin, I don't personally hate you or your son or any of your family, however I can not and will not support this operation if & when you get back into business with Cary and his scams as you have in the past by working for him @ ASC & Waverly. If you were to run a legit dz free from ripping off people via the skyride network that scams a great deal of people, well then it would be a different story... That said, I'm sure Cary will send you enough bare bones you can make you're payments on time, that is as soon as you return the contract if you haven't already, till he gets tired of you and burns you too.
