Bestkiter 0 #1 January 14, 2013 Hi everyone, I am new to skydiving :-) (Just started last summer) I travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil often and would like to get some advice of where a drop zone is in the area of Sao Paulo... Any tips would be great. Also, tips on lodging and such would be really cool as I would rather sleep around there and not drive from S.P. daily. Thanks
piisfish 140 #2 January 14, 2013 Hi, welcome to the forums and to the sport I don't know them, but THIS DROPZONE (Clicky) seems to be your best option scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
excaza 1 #3 January 14, 2013 To piggyback on this thread, does anyone have any experience with the DZs around Rio (or Lagoa Santa, but I didn't see any around there)? I'm going to be down in that area in April and as much as I'd like to, I don't think I'll have enough time to travel to Boituva.

There´s some jumps going on at Barra da Tijuca (Rio de Janeiro), but not regularly (Cessna 182 at 10.000ft). Your best bet in Rio will be Skydive Resende. The dropzone is operational every weekend and they have a Cessna Caravan going up t 12.000ft. https://www.facebook.com/skydive.resende?fref=ts Cheers! When in Danger or in doubt run in circles scream and shout.
