jgilbs06 0 #1 March 24, 2013 I'm in New England for the next week. Got some new gear and wanna jump I know Jumptown opens next Saturday. Is there any dropzones in the massaxhusetts/maine area that are open all yr round to jump?

jzzsxm 0 #3 March 24, 2013 I'd recommend Pepperell but it's pretty cold and icy right now. CPI does wintery jumps, so does Jumptown.
skydave114 0 #4 March 24, 2013 Global warming hasn't hit around here yet. Better off bringing your snowboard!

CPI is a great place by the way! Two weeks ago they had 2 Cessna 182's going to meet the demand for the number of jumpers thay had! And a number of regulars from Orange were there as well! Pepperells safety day is April 20 2013 Skydive NewEnglands safety day is April 6, 2013 and they have posted their opening weekend as April 13, 14. I would be remis to also mention The Ranch, but your going to have to call yourself too see what they are up too next weekend or during the week, It's not all that far away! Nor is many of the places in NJ and NY,...But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."
ChrisD 0 #6 April 3, 2013 Jumptown had a wonderfull Opening day, or so I have been told. March 30 / 31, Easter egg hunt with like 400 kids showing up! Plenty of recurrency classes, coaches and AFF's taking place. Diane Pond stuffed some 1000 easter eggs. Tandems and fun jumps, a couple of wing jumps, made the day memorable, and o'h yes the Otter and the smell of fresh jet fuel! The weather was light winds and unlimited vis with nary a cloud to spoil anything!!! Picture perfect day! Same kind of day like at Lodi , except Lodi has this kind of weathr 360 days of the year! But what do I know, "I only have one tandem jump."
