TikiMan 0 #1 July 23, 2013 So I'm heading to Costa with 11 friends on a surf, drink, surf trip (im the only jumper) and got in contact with the only DZ I found. They told me the guys there do 1 jump / day only on Sat and Sunday. It is a 2 hour drive to the DZ from our house and they land on Hermosa beach Where we land we hope to drop our rigs and then paddle out. Although its alot of travel for one jump I think I might just do it to say i did it type thing. Just wondering if anybody else has been and their feedback. sjtravjr 0 #2 August 13, 2013 I was just down there a few weeks ago and the dude told me the same thing, 1 jump a week. It wasn't worth the drive to me. They fly out of San Jose and land in Jaco. Thats an hour and a half drive. I had my wife with me and all the driving wasn't worth it but maybe you could jump and your buddies meet you down at Jaco. Also they only have 2 rental rigs. a Safire 2 119 and something like a pilot 260. Doesn't seem legit enough to bring your own gear. Good luck I would've loved to make a jump down there.
