DZs Near Nice, France w/USPA Credential Reciprocity

I am doing some research for a friend . . .

Looking for a DZ near Nice, France that will accept USPA Memberhip/License. I am not familiar with France's rules regarding FAI credential reciprocity.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think the closest DZ is "Le Luc"

French DZ affiliated to the FFP, which is the case here, recognize FAI licences. For somebody with experience and USPA licences it won't be a problem. If you friend has his own gear, an AAD will be mandatory.

To prevent people downsizing too fast and get hurt or killed, there is a French rule to be applied according to number of jumps and jumper's weight. He might not be allowed to jump with his own gear if his main canopy is too small relative to his number of jumps and weight. What's your friend weight (not full gear weight) and I can do some calculation and let you know what the minimum size of canopy he will be allowed to jump?

Could you post a link to the French downsizing rules please? I'm moving back to Nice this summer and plan to jump in the area with my gear. I just want to make sure I'll be able to :)
Also, if Le Luc has specific rules I'd love to know what they are. Thanks!
