anj4de 0 #1 December 1, 2013 Hello all A very good friend of mine who lives in Seattle is looking for a DZ in Washington state or Oregon where he can jump classic round canopies, static line deployed, once in a while. Is there any place left in the region where that is possible? thanks UweFor once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. -Leonardo da Vinci
drdive 0 #2 December 2, 2013 Skydive Snohomish does static line progression for their students. They may be wiling. Give them a call and ask."We saved your gear. Now you can sell it when you get out of the hospital and upsize!!" "K-Dub" "
koopascoot 0 #3 January 5, 2014 It's a little bit of a drive but Skydive Oregon in Molalla is a good DZ. I received my AFF there before moving on to the Ranch in NY. They're sticklers about rules which IMO is a good building block for new students. Suffice to say it's a professional DZ. The only negative I have was that it's tandem oriented and there aren't a lot of fun jumpers around (at least when I was there).
D22369 0 #4 January 5, 2014 your best bet is probably Ralph Hatley in eagle creek Oregon - he has a metric butt ton of parachutes both square and round. 1-800-callralph - I believe its still his number *(been some time since I talked to him other than emails) RoyThey say I suffer from insanity.... But I actually enjoy it.
