Stusmooth 0 #76 February 15, 2015 Are they going to have gear rental at this boogie?
kingbunky 3 #77 February 16, 2015 i'm going to say probably not. it isn't at a full-time dropzone, so there aren't many drop zone type things. except airplanes to fall out of and bonfires and beer and giggles. and assholes, assholes everywhere."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." normiss 798 #78 February 16, 2015 They could try reaching out to Hans, he is bringing gear. It never hurts to ask. Everything else you said is 1000% correct.

Ariya92 0 #81 February 25, 2015 Hey I'm just about to get my A license (4 more jumps!) and really want to attend this boogie if I get it in time. How newbie friendly is it? And does anybody know what the registration fee/jump ticket prices are?
Trafficdiver 8 #82 February 26, 2015 Very newbie friendly. Big big LZ. Outs for days. Very fun crowd. Lots of fun jumps. I brought two recently licensed skydivers down from Boston last year and they had a blast. I have more coming down this year. I would suggest getting your license first, as the AFF instructors there may be drunk.
swoopfly 7 #83 February 26, 2015 To finish your A if you only have 4 to go, those would be coach jumps. If you dont finish in time, i am sure there will be plenty of coach's there that will do a coach jump with you! so dont miss out n come on out, you wont regret it! You can probably even finish your A there
Ariya92 0 #84 February 26, 2015 sounds good! I'm sure I will be able to get the jumps in before then I'm just not sure I will have gotten the actual license from the USPA by then and didn't know if an A was required to jump at the event. Sounds like I will be coming regardless. Do you need higher than an A to jump the balloon/chopper?
CSpenceFLY 1 #85 February 27, 2015 As others have said, you will have a blast and there should be no problem finding people to jump with you. I'd venture to say most won't even try to charge you. Registration is $45. Jump tickets are looking like $27 Can't jump the balloon with an A license.I don't have a problem with the chopper.

CSpenceFLY 1 #89 March 3, 2015 Ok kids, I'm cleaning up the balloon list this week. Got rid of a few that contacted me about getting on the list and then never heard from them again. Have a few slots left. Also, the balloon will be there for flights on Friday morning and afternoon (in addition to Sat. and Sun) so I need to compile a list of those that will be there by then. Especially for the Friday morning slots. If you are on the list and paid up please PM me with your arrival time. If you would like to reserve a slot please contact me via email which is in the balloon thread on the boogies fb page or pm here and I'll get it to you. Thanks. CSpenceFLY 1 #94 March 10, 2015 Don't forget your $2 bills.... One of the things I have encouraged over the years is for everyone to bring as many $2 bills to the event and spend them in town so that the local businesses know that the skydivers are there and they are spending money. How do they know they came from the skydivers you ask? Well, we also have some little parchutist rubber stamps at registration so you can stamp all of your money when you check in. Most banks will have a small supply of $2 bills on hand and they can get you more if you ask them.
