Remster 30 #26 June 26, 2002 QuoteI mean, after all, if every jumper's safety is up to him/her--what the hell? I've got news for you..... it's not anyone else's responsability then your own. If you can take that responsability, maybe the sport isnt for you. yes I get a gear check before boarding (its the rule in the UK) but in no way do i hold the person doing the check in any way shape or form responsable for my safety.Remster
hohonukai 0 #27 June 26, 2002 Agree with checking gear multiple times completely. I am religious about checking my own gear three times. I was still renting gear and it was very loose on a little person to begin with, which I had a fear of falling out of...made me more cautious than ever. Now that I have custom fit gear, I still value and respect the sport as always. I still check my gear multiple times before jumping. Never want to fall out of my gear while enjoying the sport I love!
