CSpenceFLY 1 #3 May 6, 2016 I think he is talking about either the other DZ that opened up next to Air Adventures or the person who opened up after Mr. Griffin passed away and Mary Jane closed down. I think his name was Shandor.
jumpervali 2 #4 May 20, 2016 He's thinking of Zorn and Cathy who owned it before Mary Jane. Last time I saw them was Quency 97.

Bob_Church 7 #6 January 29, 2017 I see John Bruffy every now and then. I could pass on a message if it would help.
cosmicgypsy 5 #7 January 29, 2017 Thanks, I was just wondering where they were and wanted to say hi. Zoran and I were partners, Georgia Air. It was an engine shop, didn't last very long though. Cathy flew as a student at my day job, can't remember the name of it though.

I've never been there but I've had friends who jumped or, like John, flew jumpers there.

True, but my favorite plane of his was the Beech D-18. It was a work of art anyway, then he put a step on the door and a rail down the middle of the top. We'd put six people hanging from the other side off that rail and launch a dozen or more jumpers in one big wad. These were our James Bond jumps. Bob_Church 7 #11 January 30, 2017 Here's his beech. The day it arrived and then, well, at least I think you can see the rail in the second one.
Granimal 0 #12 March 21, 2017 Thought it would be a good idea to run down the runway almost naked there once (had socks and shoes on). Going great until someone stole my clothes and the police came...
