Danl-c 0 #1 May 18, 2016 Hi all! My wife and I will be driving from Norway to the French Riviera in August. We will be stopping and jumping along the way. Are there any DZ's we should visit that stand out in any way? By this I mean scenery, special aircraft, special jumps, frequent nudity, etc. We have not planned out our route yet so anything in mainland Europe is a candidate, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg. The only DZ we know we will hit for sure is Interlaken. Any good skydiving on the French Riviera as well?
Brutus 1 #2 May 18, 2016 There are two little but nice dropzones in France near the border with Spain. One of them is near the vilage of Mimizan. It is a very touristic place during the summer due to the long yellow sand beaches ideal both for surfing or sunbathing. A lot of beautiful places to visit, tasty local recipes and much more. Its owner Olivier is very friendly and really helpful with anything you may need around ojbpara.com. Every jump you will enjoy a beatiful view of the ocean and lineshore The other is near the village of Pau (close to the Pyrenees). Cheap accommodation in the DZ. Nice vibe around with a lot of French and Spanish people. Well connected with the highway and a lot of different activities around: horseriding, sightseeing, wine tasting, etc www.pau-skydive.fr

radical_flyer 0 #6 May 19, 2016 Flanders looks like a nice DZ. Unfortunately since you're going in August you'll miss the boogie. http://www.pcv.be/en/price_list/ Don't know what you're into but found some cool FF and tracking videos. Any one been there/got anything to add? Also anyone know any EU DZs that have twin turbines (apart from algarve, spain, empuria and klatovy?
