AGD 0 #1 July 31, 2016 Hello, I plan a trip in Russia, starting from San Petersburg to the Lake Baikal with the Trans-Siberian railway in September. I like to associate skydiving and hiking (and some city sightseeing). I have tried to gather some information throughout websites and facebook but I would like to see if some of you may have some additional advices. So far, here is the trip I plan and the information I gather: 1/ San Petersburg : no dropzone for fun jumper only tandem, is it right? 2/ Moscow: - Aerograd Kolomna DZ (great dropzone for fun jumper, facilities tunnel, coaching,…). a few hours from Moscow - Skydive Krutitcy DZ (great dropzone for fun jumper, tunnel under construction, facilities,..), a few hours from Moscow - Ustinovo DZ (website in Russian, could not get many information neither reach them by email) about 3 hours from Moscow 3/ On the “road” to the Lake Baikal, I wanted to stop in “Sky Roads – Samara” but I can’t find any recent information, does anyone has been there lately? The website and email address on dropzone doesn’t seem to be functional. 4/ Then I would continue and stop by - Yekaterinburg (no dropzone) - Krasnoyarsk (MANSKY DZ, website in Russian, I could not get any information neither reach them by email, any contact?) - And finally Olkhon Island and Irkutsk to hike around the lake (no dropzone) Any recent information about these dropzones especially relevant contact (staff member, manifest email,…) would be welcome. Does anyone has already travelled in the Trans-Siberian railway with a rig? Any suggestion about others potential dropzones on the way would be welcome as well. Thank you in advance for your help Aurélie

Cherenkoff 0 #4 August 12, 2016 Hey, good choice St. Pete has a DZ Gatchina, but the weather in this city is not really good for skydiving. In Moscow you can visit Kolomna, Skycenter and Vatulino. Vatulino and Kolomna are USPA members. Skycenter is the nearest to Moscow and not far from it you can fly in a best Moscow windtunnel- Freezone. 16,5ft tunnel is about 367 euro per 1 hour at the day time and 325 euro at night, 12,5ft tunnel is 282 euro (day), 240 euro (night). please watch Freezone windtunnel - unique place in Moscow: https://www.facebook.com/Freezone-WindTunnel-776520082494781/
