vbachmut 0 #1 November 7, 2016 Hi guys! I'm heading down to Florida second week of January and trying to figure out how/where I can sign up for some balloon and/or helicopter jumps (100th jump idea). Any information or references are much appreciated!
jumpsalot-2 3 #2 November 8, 2016 Do you have a B license ?Life is short ... jump often.
vbachmut 0 #3 November 8, 2016 No :( This is actually what I'll be doing while there. Do all DZs require B for balloon and heli jumps?
flyhi 24 #4 November 8, 2016 If you get your B license, Skydive Spaceland in Clewiston puts on the Everglades Boogie in January with specialty aircraft jumps. They offered balloons and helos in the past. I don't see anything on their website right now, so you may want to check with them for specifics. A very good time. Nice people, big aircraft, good organizers. They allowed camping on site, too. YMMV.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
nolhtairt 0 #5 November 8, 2016 vbachmutHi guys! I'm heading down to Florida second week of January and trying to figure out how/where I can sign up for some balloon and/or helicopter jumps (100th jump idea). Any information or references are much appreciated! Or you can wait until the St. Patrick's Day Boogie in Fitzgerald, GA in mid-March. They sometimes have a helicopter and a hot air balloon. Contact CspenceFly on here for info.

RMK 3 #15 December 25, 2016 I'd also add a Pitts Biplane jump to your list (see below): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnVmFXNFkRk There is usually one around FLA this time of year; it's been at ZHills prior. It was around $80 if I remember correctly."Pain is the best instructor, but no one wants to attend his classes"
