Balloon / Helicopter Jumps in Florida

Hi guys!

I'm heading down to Florida second week of January and trying to figure out how/where I can sign up for some balloon and/or helicopter jumps (100th jump idea).

Any information or references are much appreciated!

Do all DZs require B for balloon and heli jumps?

If you get your B license, Skydive Spaceland in Clewiston puts on the Everglades Boogie in January with specialty aircraft jumps. They offered balloons and helos in the past.

I don't see anything on their website right now, so you may want to check with them for specifics.

A very good time. Nice people, big aircraft, good organizers. They allowed camping on site, too. YMMV.

Or you can wait until the St. Patrick's Day Boogie in Fitzgerald, GA in mid-March. They sometimes have a helicopter and a hot air balloon. Contact CspenceFly on here for info.

There is usually one around FLA this time of year; it's been at ZHills prior. It was around $80 if I remember correctly.
