DZs around Austin

Any recommendations for a DZ around Austin? Seems like there are 3 in different directions. Trying to squeeze in a quick jump or two on a trip.

Been jumping at all 3 for years, here's my .02 cents

San Marcos or Lonestar- bigger planes, more loads flown, larger groups of fun jumpers.

Temple- 182 DZ, laid back slower pace, small group of fun jumpers.

Anyone is a good place to jump it really depends on what kind of DZ experience you're looking for.

Lonestar generally starts later in the day and runs a bunch of loads back to back.

San Marcos generally has a 10 oclock, 12 oclock, and 3 oclock.

Lonestar posts their start times on Facebook, San Marcos you have to go on the website and go through the tandem scheduling process to see where the loads are going to fly.

Make the trip to Houston and skydive spaceland. Huge landing area, multiple caravans and otters, air conditioned packing area. They turn loads all day, every day except for Christmas. Spaceland Dallas is also about the same distance from Austin and equally as good.
