cutaway1 3 #4 November 14, 2004 Hi John, Thank you so much for your message, it was good to hear from you, I have great memories of you from the 60's, I don't know if you remember me. Do you happen to know any details of how Don died? Years ago, Lyle Cameron pass through here, Honolulu, and said that Don had been beaten up badly by some thugs that attacked him at his house, did he die of that? Anyway, all the best John, keep up the good work. Aloha, TimSCR-

ccinder 0 #7 November 18, 2004 hi, I just reunited with someone I used to jump with in Arvin, Brian Williams and Bill Newell. I too used to jump with Don too back in 1965. I always wondered too what happened to him. I have pictures of kiss passes with us in free fall. I just found this site and also found out I am in Oct. Parachutist magazine in the article about the good guys in arvin. Anyway I heard that Don fell madly in love with a woman and she moved in with him and shortly after her boyfriend moved in too. Then she and her boyfriend got married and poor Don paid for the wedding, shortly after he had some mysterious illness and died and was quickly cremated and even more quickly his ashes dumped in the ocean. Poor Don. Susie
cutaway1 3 #8 November 22, 2004 Thanks Susie for the details, Don was a hell of guy, he introduced me to the sport, I washed his twin beech when I was 16 at Van Nuys airport, and he put me out on my first jump, and gave me a brand new parachute. I remember you from the 60's. All the best, TimSCR-
