knot pt3

Recommended Posts

Okay....Those are the handles we were discussing a while back.
The knot appears to be a variation on what we used to call a munter hitch in climbing, its a belay knot that is easy to lock off under load, which is what happened to me.
The cause, brake line stows in the riser near the line attachment point, a loop from these passed over the toggle, which when pulled on opening, created the knot we see here.
I post this in case anyone else is stowing brake lines in their risers........
The canopy was a Spectre loaded at 1.6+ I decided I couldn't land it safely, for a variety of reasons, and choppped.
For the record my PD176R put me down nicely. A stand up in the peas if you will :)I fool so feelish.
