BIGFOOT, WI.

I spent a year there one week!;)





I remember at one of the early Freeport conventions,
I had just landed and was walking back to my campsite......Roger was just ahead of me with a guy in a suit who turned out to be the Freeport Mayor.
A couple of guys hummed one down low.....like 500 feet, and dumped....right over Roger and the Mayor.
Roger took off and found the first guy on the ground, dumped his reserve and kicked him out of the boogie.
Same Roger guy ,Sparky.

Nah, don't think I'd fit in at one of those conventions for the freak thingies - jumping hard all day - drinking beer hard all night - partying hard all night - 10 to 12 minutes sleep - get up and do same as day before - repeat for 10 days...go home to rest.

nah, cannot be - surely they're a bunch of lunies?!!!

At Freeport again, '83, I remember Norman Kent premiered that little known film called "Freekbrothers Convention." I also distinctly remember Roger announcing over the PA something like, "Jumpers! Please put your beer cans in the trash before boarding the aircraft!!" He was a little (maybe) upset. Great fun!!
