200-way photo

Hi All,

There was an Australian photographer on the first 200-way who got one of the better shots.

Does anyone out there have that shot or know how to get in touch with that guy?

The colour one was on the cover of 'Skydiving' and shot by Gus Wing. The mono one was shot by Wendy Smith who's a Kiwi, maybe that's who you were thinking of. If so, she's here; http://wendysmithaerial.com/

Only 7 with the official FAI judges etc. But well over 30 if you count jewels, round stars, night records, sequentials etc.

Some people don't bother to put the correct number of jumps made in their profile. Guy's one of the top jumpers in the world.

There was a joke going around years ago about a big way that just completed, except for one slot on the base, then out of nowhere one skydiver comes screaming in from above, comes to an abrupt stop just inches from his slot, then eases in. Back on the ground afterwards one guy asked another, "who was that guy?" "Oh, that's Jesus Christ. He just thinks he's Guy Manos."



Anyway, back on a serious note - that 200 way, that's the one that was done at Myrtle Beach, SC, right? Organized by Buzz Ansley and everyone wore Dive Rite suits?

Mr manos stated so young I think he was pre tunnel.

I think you'll find a guy called Guy Manos was the main organiser on the 200 way world record.

Watch your friends die in canopy collision that they didn't cause then think how my kid will feel if I died for a hobby.
