If you "abuse" the court system you risk being declared a "vexatious litigant" by a judge and banned from suing or being so highly restricted that you can't effectively litigate.

In nearly every large metro judicial district there are mentally
ill people who represent themselves in delusional lawsuits againt the government for alleged wrongs such as implanting thought control devices in their brains. The suits get dismissed and then they sue the judges etc. They get declared vexatious litigants and the game is over. The court clerks are directed not to accept filings from them.

The same thing can happen to non delusional people who use the courts to harrass people with meritless lawsuits.

Truth is always a defense to slander. If it's true it can't be slander.

I wonder why Jo refers to skyjumpers, a term only she uses?
No big deal, but it is consistent. Is she "hiding something in plain sight"?

Pardon me for posting something about NORJAK right smack in the middle of this fantasy “Lawyer-fest.” ;););)

On March 22, 2006 Prairie Mary (screen name for Mary Strachan-Scriver), the wife of the late Bob Scriver, born in 1914 on the Blackfeet Reservation, and best known for his internationally acclaimed bronze sculptures of Indians, the rodeo and wildlife, made a post HERE that I found intriguing.

Here is part of the post:
My mother's cousin worked for a motel and often had amusing stories to tell. One of her favorites (often repeated) was that when she cleaned rooms occupied by couples she often found on top of the dresser or bedside table a neat little pile of toenail clippings…

… She also claimed that D.B. Cooper stayed in that motel the night before he jumped out of the airplane with all that money. She was interviewed by the FBI.

Mary is the author of several books and makes a lot of posts on art blogs, but I have been unable to locate an e-mail address or other contact information. I have the following (questionable) info from a Facebook page:

Mary Strachan, Female, Kingsville Ontario, Canada

If anyone knows (or can find) some contact info for Mary, I’d like to ask her if her Mother’s cousin is still alive and then make an attempt to talk with her.

I’d love to know; What motel, what they asked, if anyone at the motel saw the person, etc.?

I think just Jo's way of saying things... like her term "dislusional".

Howzit Jerry - family all well thanks, hope you and Shelly good too :)
Hey did you guys see this about a 100-yr old Brazilian gran planning on a jump: http://www.news24.com/Content/World/News/1073/5ea766c1a24243eaa94f53ba19734c6e/20-12-2009-12-28/Granny,_100,_plans_parachute_jump

Sluggo - backpack/knapsack? from what i can recall in the 70s (and yes i know we were half a world away) we always called them knapsacks. A backpack in those days was the big thing with interior or exterior supports that you used for hiking trips and travelling with, a knapsack the smaller softer ones that you would use for a smaller amount of clothes, or schoolbooks etc.

Keep us posted on any Mary Strachan developments... now it really would be a feather in Jo's cap if it ended up being the same hotel as her night clerk from China?? If.
I have just skimmed her blog but blogs usually have places to put comments, maybe that would be a start to get hold of her?

I think you are on to something Sluggo.

I once saw a graffiti in a restroom that said "DB Cooper was here".
Hey, who can say if it was just a joke or the real thing?

The FBI refused to investigate the graffiti. Jerks, always covering up about Cooper. On Armageddon Day, when Jo reveals "the truth" a geyser of fire from hell shall erupt under every FBI office. Jo is kindly waiting until after Christmas to bring down the wrath.

Snow had an intriguing suspect that he stopped investigating. This guy resembled the FBI sketch, had a huge well documented grudge, was in Nam and witnessed atrocities, was a skydiver with night jump experience, was living abroad right before Norjack AND worked for Boeing at a time and in a position that may have given him access to 727 tech documents. There are even more intriguing aspects to this suspect if you dig deeper. He probably wasn't Cooper but what a great find with all those qualifications.

377 claimed, without proof "If it's true it can't be slander."

This doesn't seem right.
Going to see if I can lobby Senator Franken to get a rider on a bill to overturn this miscarriage of justice.

The U.S. economy runs on slander.

Hey I saw a Tiger Woods Accenture ad on the walls still in the airports.

Tiger, with a ball in the rough, and the copy "What are you going to do now?" (Accenture was a consulting company that used Tiger in their ads...

So apropos.

I've been sending fax's to Woods' machine, seeing if he needs some consulting help, but no replies as of yet.

I'm really confused now. Am I still supposed to "Be a Tiger" ?

Did life in the U.S. just get more fun?

Hey, seeing as we are in the fantasy realm anyway, here's the description of the hijack from prison break. The amount was increased (inflation i guess :P) but who's to say the rest of it isn't as likely a hypothesis as anything else that has been presented here? :)

Quote

Westmoreland: 'Cause you still think I'm D.B. Cooper.

Michael: I don't think. I know. The way I see it, you're in here doing 60-to-life for a vehicular manslaughter. It would have been 20, but the car you were in was stolen. Felony murder rule cubes every sentence, and here you are. Hitting that woman was an accident, but the car? No one accidently steals a car. So the question is, why would Charles Westmoreland be in Arizona boosting a car, ten states away from where he lived, and only ten miles away from the Mexican border? And why, two days before that, would someone make a phone call to his wife from a motel in Portland, a stone's throw away from the airport out of which, shortly after, flight 305 was hijacked by one, D.B. Cooper? Seven hours after the hijacking, records show Charles Westmoreland was treated for a busted knee at a free clinic in Brigham City. Only way to get from Portland, Oregon to Brigham City, Utah in seven hours, is in a car breaking every land-speed record known to man, or flying. It's public record D.B. Cooper jumped out of that 727 about an hour after takeoff. Taking a dive at ten thousand feet with 1.5 million in cash and a hastily packed parachute, might make for a pretty rough landing. Rough enough to shatter some bones, maybe even a left knee. D.B. Cooper would've had a car waiting for him when he landed. According to D.M.V. records, in 1971, Charles Westmoreland was the proud owner of a '65 Chevy Nova. As it happened, a '65 Chevy Nova with the registration number scraped off was found abandoned with a blown gasket along the Arizona border, a mile or two away from where you accidently hit that woman, with your stolen car.

Westmoreland: Interesting story.

Michael: Interesting man.

"1.5 million"

???

Were the Prison Break fact checkers asleep at the wheel or did they get access to the FBI files that show the Bureau told the bank that Cooper demanded 1.5 million and got that much currency? Cooper (Duane) was only given 200K. The rest was held in reserve for future coverup activities. Snow is the main drain on the fund these days. He shuts down the entire FBI server system for 30 seconds now and then to remind them that payments need to continue regardless of how much is left in the fund. Most of us here discredit Jo out of frustration. We are doing Snow's paid work for free. Wasn't there something like this on Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Fin? Something about painting a fence?

:D I believe it was simply 'artistic license' because you know these days $200K doesn't sound like it's worth getting your entire body tattooed and sent to jail for. (Though the suspension of disbelief required in the show was such that I'm not sure why they bothered changing it!!)

Okay, I'll bite.

If you go to the link sluggo provided (which is funny in itself: www.2blowhards.com and fubar.cgi)....you can see Prairie Mary's post (was she a porn actress?) with a 2006 date after it.

The weird thing is the immediate next post. By poster named "Sluggo"

And this is 2006?

WTF is that?

Sluggo, she has a number of different blogs she scribbles at...

this one has an email address for her

http://merryscribbler.blogspot.com/

I like the idea of Sluggo contacting random women asking them about DB Cooper.

(edit) It's possible she's in the Federal Witness Protection program.

(edit) ah I see 1969.. saw the same thing.

So WTF did Sluggo post, if it was so obvious?

Is Sluggo in the Federal Witness Protection Program?

, How do you get from a wilderness jump (or farmland jump) and blend back in when there is so much news circulating? Every guy who looked wet and disheveled was a suspect that night.

Amazing!
And amazing you are here. More snow here today but Im going out shopping anyway. Nice pleasant day here.

Read Sluggo's post of the day.

Enjoy!

Judge Judy! I want to get sued.

I want to be on Judge Judy. I'm going to bring
a friend who will stand next to me in a slinky dress.
She will shake her head and every 4 minutes say "WTF?" until she gets thrown off the show.

The show will be 90% bleeped. How excellent is that?
:)
Judge Judy always asks for receipts, check stubs, ... evidence... that type of stuff.

Then, JJ will say, "That's it? WTF? Case dismissed."

Geoger. I already read that. You and your complaints about snow . I'll trade you location's. It's still Snowing here. Even the dog's and horses are making snowmman, I mean snowmen. Its about 5 ft deep with more on the way not supossed to stop for 3 day's. But that's normal. Now what do you think judge Judy would say about that. She probably tell the WTF lady to get boot's tall one's and a over coat . Providing it was'nt The bull she was trying to avoid instead of the snow. Jerry

I've discovered evidence that this forum is inhabited by

"trolls, lurkers, smart-asses, butt-heads, intellectuals, comedians, pontificators, pretenders, and dumb-heads. "

Since "jumpers" wasn't included in the above treatise, I'm assuming they're spread out (hiding?) in the various groups above.

This forum is for CIA, FBI, DHS, TSA, and any other OGA that has a black something or other, and hopefully no ID badge.

And the crazy lady.

Now that reminds me.

So after Quentin took a pass on the treatment, I'm scrambling.

John Cameron comes to mind. So I hang outside his office one morning and draft in after the guy delivering the morning's copy of the Hollywood Reporter and Variety.

I'm in front of the receptionist babbling about 727's, dirt runways, stolen gun collections, money analysis that's covered up, etc. And it's not long before a big beefy guy has his hand on my arm and is showing me the elevator. (how come that seems to happen to me a lot?)

And I'm trying to get the last bits of my elevator pitch out, before I get tossed in the elevator. ...and I realize I have to play my best card.

I turn my head in the direction of an office with a nameplate that says "John C." and yell "Plus there's a crazy lady!".

I swear everything freezes at that moment. And there's like the classic double take scene....After like a full minute, a voice, calm, flat....seemingly coming from everywhere and nowhere, like there must be speakers implanted in all the walls and ceilings or maybe the walls and ceilings are the speakers...but the voice is like god ...and it says

"Bring him in"

And that's what led to the most intense 45 seconds of my life.
