Why can't I open the pictures on your site Sluggo? I asked you about this before ..and would like to see the pics. I do not post on the site - so as not to intrude, but my friend can't open the pictures either.

Some of the posters do seem to be spending an inordinate amount of time sucking on smoke out of those crack pipes....

Half of the time I don't know what the fuck they are ranting about.... I guess its just because I am straight and not smoking that crap and not on the same level of being high they are on

that interphone I posted is an old 747 interphone. I'm guessing the 727 interphone was similar.

Northwest Orient just started using 747's at the end of '71 I believe.

But the picture of it, got me wondering why they didn't get prints off the interphone.

Humor and fun are good, Snow.
You know what I am talking about - there is NO need for people to be nasty and there is no need for constant useless gibberish - there should be a better balance with more emphasis being useful on Cooper and/or suspects or theories. New posters won't come here anymore - not those of the age category that will end up solving the case.

Snow - you used to make good posts and the you just went haywire - and that set the trend making it hard for the serious posters to work around you...perhaps Amazon is right - and you need to lay off the weed.

Best post in a long time and a worthy question - I had thought about it and assumed he wiped it down. Cooper was ALL over that area - WHY, did't they get prints?

If they still have some of the items - would not new technology provide some additional print information. (Theory )They forgot to mention Cooper had gloves in his paper bag - huh! Makes Sense. ANKLE rubbers make sense too - the kind that strap at the Ankle - that went over your shoes.

The FBI went to a lot of trouble to keep the paper sack out of the media - if Tina was watching him - how come she didn't see what was in that paper bag.

I think it might have been cigarettes - emory cloth - matches - lighter fluid - candy.
Babe Ruths, Clark Bars or maybe just a tie. Something he thought of on the last minute - perhaps some hardware he might need.

There was a shoe polish station in the terminal and I was NEVER able to find out if the shoe man went to N.O. later in his life.

(edit) I was just at an airport, and saw a guy getting a shoe shine. He was dressed all dapper like, with a bowtie, suspenders, suit. Weird. fit the word "dandy". I have a mental image of a vest and spats, but that can't be right. I always wonder what kind of guys get shoe shines in an airport.

Hey, you know you're more likely to be arrested and charged if you do something for political or terrorist reasons nowadays. (or even suspected political: witness Zazi). Its safest to say the only motivation you have is economic. "I did it for the money" ...click your heels and you'll be out in a couple of years.

Xe/Blackwater can use that to good effect if things go bad: no political ideology: we just did it for the contract for the customer.

I thought it was odd seeing a report about the CIA promising "revenge" for the recent deaths.

A more sane point of view is this one:

The reason you get ridiculed is that you do not post information. You post claims without supporting evidence. There is always some reason you cannot post the evidence. Just post it it if you have it. If you don't have it then don't make the claims.

Want to get treated better? The solution is obvious.

Sluggo and I used to defend you steadfastly. Now we don't. The reason is your stubborn unchanging extravagant behavior on the forum.

My question about the visibility of distinctive peaks or lights referred to what Cooper could have seen from the ground and might have been used by him to determine his position.

I don't see how Cooper could have made a successful egress if he landed safely due to the intense news media attention. He either died or had some help. He didn't walk all the way to civilization. The help could have been impromptu eg a sympathetic pot farmer or preplanned such as an accomplice with a vehicle.

Whoever wrote that opening was brilliant.

The show quality varied wildly from top notch sci fi to drek.

I liked all those kinds of shows. Twilight Zone was the best overall. Serling could have easily woven a bizarre plot around Norjack. As you pointed out he could have been Cooper.

A guy in our neighborhood was a local hero as he wrote a screenplay that was turned into a Twilight Zone episode. I don't think anything se he wrote was even published much less produced.

Alfred Hitchcocks show was pretty good too.

Not sure if it quite fits the scientific definition of entropy but the concept is used in economics a fair amount. There is a branch of econometrics that uses a maximum entropy approach too. Can't say that I am expert in any of it though... to be honest I can remember more about entropy from high school science classes than anything in economics
