georger 244 #16526 February 18, 2010 QuoteI thought I read that he had fought in the Pacific as a Marine during WW2 on one of his posts off this forum. Maybe I am confusing Sheridan with Barb Dayton, the unenlisted teenage wonder woman who was the sourge of the Japanese in Pacific island combat. Anyway, even w/o WW2 combat, Pete has the balls, skills and experience to have been Cooper, at least in my book. The FBI's timing and lack of depth in investigating him is still very puzzling to me. I mean showing birth certificates of his kids hardly proves he was OUS during Norjack. He could have easily come in through Canada or possibly even Mexico. I hope Sheridan is gong to the VA for treatment. There have been recent advances in prostate surgery that could help him survive if it is still operable. If it isnt operable there are proton beams and other types of focused radiation treatments that might extend his life. The VA is pretty up to date in the SF Bay Area where he lives. I'd still like to buy an autgraphed copy of his book if he'd tell me how. Snow apparently has the first and only edition. I can't let that be. 377 all Im saying is its damned miserable any way you cut it ... wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy ... so calling the guy out may have been bad timing. ... I have no doubt he might have a lot for you skydivers ... hopfully he can deliver when he's up to it but give the guy some slack! That includes Jerry! 377 22 #16527 February 18, 2010 Quoteso calling the guy out may have been bad timing. Sheridan published and posted quite a bit about himself and the FBI's suspicion that he was Cooper. It isn't like it was all under wraps until we stirred it up. He can have all the slack he wants and is apparently taking it. He hasn't responded to anything lately. I do feel for the guy, late stage cancer is a miserable experience. I do hope Sheridan is not beyond medical help. While we are discussing compassion, don't forget that Jo is not a well woman and deserves our kind thoughts too, aside and apart from all her Duane is Cooper stuff. Let's "nice up" this forum a bit. Be happy!Well, maybe it's Quade's thread! He's given you what he wants here - he knows it could be better. He gives you what you deserve. ------------------------------------- =================== Jo states: Georger - I agree. Snowmman has taken this thread and trashed it - it is now a game for him. This is still HISTORY AND TRIVIA, but Snow is not allowing any real work to be done on this thread. Note that the 2 dominating posters are NON jumpers - or so they say. Reading about the background of Sheridan - I can imagine how he felt when he came here and read the ridiculous things being said. Perhaps Snowmman should show some RESPECT to his elders and those who have walked where he dare not to walk. Snowmman went from be a resourceful poster to being absolutely obnoxious - he is driving people away now and has destroyed the purpose of the thread - to find any creditable information regarding Cooper that might still be out there. No one wants to come here to post or to read anymore, because of Snowmman - perhaps he works for the FBI or CIA - and is paid to trash the Cooper site - the only only avenue available to any serious explorations of ideas and clues to be discussed. The only place that is navigatiable for Cooper seekers...and the only forum with the expertise to bring this 38 yr old crime together with collective knowledge. Jo Weber (that is me) is a victim of Cooper - be it she is the widow of Cooper or the victim of a well thought out con game played on her. Currently there are enough people out there who sympathize with her mission who have joined forces to help bring her search to an end. There is ONE thing that those who have come to know Jo personally will state. This woman is not into this for fame or fortune - she may be connecting dots that do not connect - but the extensive research done by those who have reached out to her - are connecting even more dots. These researchers have found within Jo's own research - things the FBI did NOT investigate and chose to ignore - mainly things that have been presented within the last 8 yrs and some over 12 yrs ago. The researchers conducted within his/or her own capabilities what Jo was unable to do. These are having an accumulative outcome - that will amaze and dismay. Non believers have been shaking their heads - how could this be missed? Why was this missed? Not just one thing but multiple things - 15 % of which has resulted from the investigative efforts and knowledge derived from this forum. Without the aid of this thread her story would have been buried forever. This is where some of them found her - wagering her battle against the FBI...taking a stand with nothing to stand on but her own values and defending her creditability. This is where they came to hear her tell her story and to make their own evaluations. Jo Weber thanks all those who have made valuable contributions and all of the skydivers who have provided information. Last, but foremost the Drop Zone for being kind enough to host the Cooper thread in History and Trivia. Appreciation is expressed to History and Trivia groups who have put up with this thread when some individuals have persisted in making posts considered in-appropriate for History and Trivia. Her only anomosity is directed at Jerry Thomas - a crude man who for his own reasons went to extreme measures to discredit her. Considering the results - one might WONDER why! Now is the time for those with lots of things to discuss - should pipe in. Snow was an excellent researcher - but, got way to carried away with himself. I did NOT contact Quade - so don't blame me! I did agree with Georger's feelings regardng Snow, but then remember Georger would love for me to be gone. Snowmman was really pushing the limits. We have gone to goverment sites, archives and other places - NO one know much about what was going on at Camp Bonneville in Wa over the yrs. Even the locals didn't know...other than rumors. Perhaps "Cooper" was at Camp Bonneville at one time in his life for several months. Cooper had to know the area very well (Or, Id and Wa) - what skills and occupations would have allowed him this capability? He would have only have been on temporary assignment in WA and not a full time resident - or someone would have recognized him. What short term assignments did military and non military personel do in WA requiring they have extensive knowledge of the forests and mountains and the terrain? Jo, Sometimes docs call the end when cutting edge technology can change the grim outlook. Thousands of legs are amputated every year unnecessarily from diabetics with peripheral artery disease. They are gangrenous, circulation is just about gone etc. A device is available to slice the arterial plaque off the walls and remove it restoring circulation. The dead flesh falls away, the leg looks like it was attacked with a melon baller, but healthy tissue thrives again and the patient can walk on a their own leg rather than a prosthesis. I am not an MD or oncology expert but is FAR more helpful to encourage Sheridan to travel to the cutting edge of medical technology than to just accept an end stage diagnosis, question nothing and lay down and die. Some MDs are behind the times. I am not saying Sheridan's oncologist is out of date, but it's worth looking into. 3772018 marks half a century as a skydiver. I have buried 2 husbands who fought brave battles agains all odds. Jim died of lung cancer and we fought the traditional ways - surgery, radiation and chemo. We went to Loma Linda University for the proton radiation the last time - as there was not one anywhere near us and only 5 proton radiations facilities up and running even though the USA developed the technology. China and other countries had multiple proton centers using our technology. Does this tell you how far the USA is behind in the medical field....in the developement and use of new technology? More Proton centers have started up since 2005, but they lack in the skills and operational end. We tried to use another center in Indiana in 2006 - but they were just feeling their way around. It would have required multiple trips to Indiana to continue beyond the evaluation process. The travel alone would have sapped his energy - we opted not to go back. We looked at more chemo - but he knew the first bout of chemo put him near death and that was in the early yrs of the cancer when he was still fit. We knew that a round of chemo in his weakened condition in 2006 would have meant - he could die in the process. He chose to tough it out and we put his life in Gods hands. There comes a point when you have to let it go. Until you have personally experienced the ravages of chemo and radiation, you and other will not grasp what it does to the quality of life. He chose quality of life over spending what time he had left connected to a needle that made him sick and put him in the hospital. More surgery was not an opiton. In the first few yrs he fought a brave battle and in the end he still lost. What most people do NOT understand is that some of these processes are very debilitating and reduce the quality of life to crap. Only a minute portion of 1% end up killing the cancer or making it go away...the exception is breast cancer. Since Eagleeye lives in CA. I am sure he has done the proton radiation - but from the terminology he used - I expect he has exhausted his options..because then and only then do you use the term end-stage. End-stage is used when the cancer has invaded vital organs - such as the liver. Jim has been gone for almost 2 yrs and 8 months now - but, I continue to read anything I can lay my hands on about what is new. Proton Radiation for Prostrate cancer was the one thing people from all across America sought out - with Loma Linda being the most progressive - if you had private insurance (it sometimes was not covered). The expense alone was phenonmenal and out of the reach of Ordinary Man without the financial means to handle it out of pocket This treatment requires spending 3 months minimun in the facility...not cheap to obtain housing for 3 months near the facility. Since we are filling in space here I thought this information might be useful to someone. In the end it comes down to CHOICE - financially, physically, pshycologically and spiritually.Copyright 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 2013, 2014, 2015 by Jo Weber

First, these people must ALWAYS approach you while you are latched at the top of the tower and discuss every nuance of what you are doing. Of course they can't seem to hear your responses like 'I'm busy right now, I'll be down in a few hours'. Nope, never - it turns into an insta-crusade in which they call every agency that has a phone and report how you gave them a 'probe' in their sleep. On woman had my old man drive over to her house so he could see how his antenna was messing up her TV programs. Ah ha!! right there see, she would excitedly point to the screen as it flashed and modulated some voice harmonics. My dad would try to explain 'lady, how could that be me if I'm standing right here rather than transmitting CW on an HF frequency?' She responded with an unblinking stare. My dad went to the car and grabbed an RF filter for her antenna and installed it free of charge to keep her quiet if not make her happy. 'I find it strange that you would make such a repair so quickly if you had nothing to do with my TV being messed up' she said. 'Your welcome' was his response and we drove home not saying a word to each other. My father defeated from a lifetime of dealing with such people and I with the fresh realization that such people even existed. I wrote it (have a copy) and mailed it 30 days ago. No one will or can give any answers. This happened about 7 months ago - same thing. I spent $35 for a stop payment and the check passes same day. Now again - either I am crazy or the US postal is letting mail sit in a warehouse somewhere for days. Wish I had your wit to deal with these idiots...of course they call me the idiot behind my back I am sure. Only a schizophrenic would see a connection here, so maybe I should just quiet down. P.S. The area snoop saw that called the area schizophrenic who drove up my drive asking "why!" I was listening to his private conversations in his house - he lived down the road. ! The sherriff just shook his head. He said he's going down to talk to the neighborhood snoop to tell herany further calls to his office and they will start charging her for every trip theyhave to make investigating her complaints. He asked me if my new guy line works!"yes" I believe that really happened! Like the phone company cutting me off saying I hadn't paid my phone bill - and the SS saying I owe them bunches of money. What is this world coming to! I have seen NO proof I owe SS money but they want me to sign an agreement to repay them or I get cut off in March. If I agree to the waiver and payments - again I would be admitting I owe them money with NO proof of debt. They just know what their computer is telling them. The SS system did a redo of their computer system in 2005 and this is where THEY screwed up - not me and I never recieved money I was not entitled to. The last woman (call # 34 told me it was an error). I asked for proof of the error and her ID number...I got a name and City). She said they DO NOT have to tell me where the error is...this is all insane and ridiculous. As for the phone bill - I am still trying to find out why they don't have a check. UPS made me feel bad today - first thing out of the mouth - "Oh MY you have lost lots of weight". I was never heavy and the scales read the same thing they did 6 months ago...it made me realize how bad I must look to people who knew me when I was healty. Oh Well, I am not dead, yet! I got too much to do before I die - I got an old coffin that I am pulling the nails out of one by one - and I can't go till I get it open.Copyright 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 2013, 2014, 2015 by Jo Weber
 Prev 657 658 659 660 661 662 663 664 665 666 667 Next Page 662 of 2570 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
