How many elderly serial killers that were grandma's (one of which is on Death Row in Florida) have we trusted How many mother inlaws have caused divorce elderly or not especially down south. I described the house to you in 1997 and for the next 3 yrs -and YOU never one time suggested this - you told me these things DID not exist.

I also told you Duane claimed he knew a man who used to be the caretaker (neither you nor the FBI seemed interested in this).

All I can tell you is go back to the very begining of her post here on dropzone and you'll see for yourself. Now you have her motive. She was even able to get a all exspense paid trip to portland oregon and get another documentary produced. They brought her out here to show them where duane took her only for her to tell them she couldn't remember anything.After the crew left Jo decided to rent a car and travel towards lacamas lake get some maps.

I didn't tell them I couldn't remember anything - I had not been prepared for the places they took me - they were NO WHERE near what I had described. You KNOW very well I didn't rent a car and that had an uncover cop and 3 local women picked me up -I even spent the next night with one of the ladies. I did not purchase any maps while I was there but one was provided by the nephew.

You need to read the post before this one and then Make A PUBLIC apology. My heart can't take anymore of this...I have two pills in me right now trying to calm down.

Well guys - I can't take anymore of this. Jerry has succeeded in getting this thread LOCKED down I won't have anyway to talk to you all...I just can't believe that someone like this can be allowed to make the claims he is making.

I will survive to tell this story. I WILL...and hopefully there will be a median for me to finish this with, but I haven't found one that I can navigate as this is the only way I can way I have of the truth making it through.

Right now I ask God to hold me in his ARMS.....Jerry is the meanest cruelest man I have ever met in my life - I want every one of you to examine his post for a motive. I hope all of you reach the same conclusion I have.

Jo Before you sent those maps. Your statement was. Duane burried the money under a fire tower. Before that Duane had buried the money under the cowitz river bridge. Then even before that , you said that duane had told you while crossing over the cowitz river bridge that that was where Db Cooper burried his money.Also what ever happened to the nurse that heard Duane say I know who DB Cooper was. Jo will write thousands of words fighting with Jerry about which places she did or did not visit on her WA trip, but has nothing to say when asked to simply prove her claim that Duane was a trained parachutist.

Her evasive answer is baloney: "the FBI said I have to put him on the plane."

I try to be respectful with Jo but that doesn't require that I accept her dodges and decline to challenge them.

Jerry didn't talk to me - I hung up...twice.
No one paid any phone bills for me.
All of the things Jerry has said here are disputed with black and white documents and the statements of others.

I will not subject myself to this kind of abuse anymore nor will I allow myself to be reduced to his level. Anyone who knows me knows what I have said was the truth and what Duane's friend said was the truth.

I have the documentations and I have to prove none of this to Jerry. A man who would go to these extremes could be physically explosive and dangerous to others...these are tactiics condemed by our own government regarding prisoners of war. In this situation I can add deliberate slander - in the USA these are punishable crimes.

For God’s sake… STOP IT! Take it to E-Mail or PMs!

Jerry posts inflammatory statements about Jo that he can’t prove and nobody but he (and Jo) even care about.

Jo responds from the position of an elderly (I know that isn’t politically correct, but neither am I) and somewhat delusional woman who cares enough about what people think of her to become upset, never realizing that her posts (response to Jerry and others) hurt her image as much as anything Jerry can say.

It’s like watching a schoolyard squabble at morning recess and just hoping the teacher won’t cancel afternoon recess because of it.

The value of this thread is totally determined by the value of the individual posts contained herein. Have either of you made a post in the last two months that have ANY value whatsoever to anyone but the two of you?

If I were your (either of you) brother, son, father, sister, mother coworker, or clergy, I would be ashamed to have to live in that relationship.

Jerry, has your life become so dull that you have to denigrate an old woman who can’t possibly fight back to add enough tension to keep you going? (And by the way, believe me, I’m aware that you ignored my questions about threats.)

Jo, are you so confused about life on the internet that you will let what someone who can’t even put a sapient sentence together or use a spell checker bother you? Why do you care what he says?

I remember when this thread was valuable (to me, if not DZ.com) and meaningful discussions were taking place. Then, disagreements were handled with high emotion but without loss of mutual respect.

There are some really interesting developments going on in the NORJAK case. The people who could be adding to the NORJAK information database won’t sully their reputation by posting here on "The Jerry Springer Show". If we can recover our (the thread’s) reputation of being “where-it’s-at” we could again make some progress.

That’s just my opinion, yours may vary. I would love to hear from others as to whether they agree or disagree with me. Jo and Jerry, I don’t give a shit what you think about my post.

I agree Sluggo. Let's just take it as a given that Jo and Jerry will forever disagree about what happened during Jo's WA visit and move on. It doesn't require that either stop posting, it just requires that they stop posting about that subject which has been thoroughly aired and repeated.

Please Jo and Jerry, let's take that dispute to PMs or emails. OK? Post about something besides that visit.

Let's focus on new developments and info. People hint that things are happening regarding Norjack but don't specify what they are. Post something here Sluggo and let's see if we can get out of Jerry Springer mode.

I will try to respond in the “spirit” of your post, but please realize that I have non-disclosure agreements with several authors and private investigators, So, typically, I just don’t post any kind of “hints” about what’s going on for fear that I will become indistinguishable from Jo. But, because I care about this thread, and because I care about NORJAK, I will attempt to share (as I can) what I know and/or think. Just promise me you won’t brand me a “tease.”

First order of business: Where does my information come from? My web site (my labor of love) generates a lot of contacts. Typically these contacts refer to me as an “expert” on NORJAK, and I am quick to point out that I don’t consider myself an expert, but rather a librarian of NORJAK data (quality non-withstanding). In my humble opinion, there are no true “experts” on NORJAK. There just isn’t that much factual evidence surrounding the case. Mostly, it’s just people with an opinion base on what they know (or think they know) about the case.

Many of the contacts are from “kooks” (and I don’t mean to be cruel, that’s just a category… not a judgment). These are people who think their father, uncle, husband, etc. was DB. They contact me because they have found my site and think I am some sort of an “insider” who will help them prove their assertions. I have one kook that I am current corresponding with. She thinks her father was DB. He died in 1979. I did some research and he was (in fact) a master rigger, active sport parachutist (with a military jumping background), and a jumpmaster who ran his own DZ in AZ. He fits the physical descriptions given by the witnesses. I am fairly sure he was interviewed by the FBI at sometime after the incident (not yet confirmed). I’m awaiting for more info and a photo, but right now “Confidence is Low”.

There are three serious authors working on books that are under publisher contracts (and many others that would like to be). You probably know who I am referring to… Robert Blevins, Galen Cook, and Geoff Gray. Cook and Blevins are both “hawking” a particular suspect (Gossett for Cook and Christiansen for Blevins). I am not convinced that either of those two has enough real evidence to make an assertion that will fly. They use circumstantial evidence to support what I consider to be conjecture. Gray’s book is a different animal. He (up until now) has focused more on the NORJAK Case and how it has become a social phenomena. I love his approach and hope his book doesn’t turn into another “Nat-Geo Special,” in that creative control is wrested away by the money-men. All three of these guys have done thorough research and investigation and uncovered some things heretofore un-published (and that’s where I cannot go in this post due to agreements).

Bruce Smith and a female skydiver are both working on magazine article (length) papers. The young lady is submitting hers to Parachutist Magazine (I think that the name, it’s the governing bodies’ journal), there isn’t anything new in it and you guys have seen what Bruce has done.

The FBI has made it plain (to me) that as of now, they are out of the active investigation mode for NORJAK. The two people that I most often communicated with have been reassigned (budget cuts) and the Bureau has a new MO. If you have a suspect that you feel might have been Cooper, AND, if you have compelling evidence to support your feelings. Let them know (I have no idea who the new “Public Information” contact is). They will evaluate your info and take action or not take action. They will not provide feedback as to whether they took action or not. It’s FOIA request time again, and that means $$s up front.

Of course if you find a parachute in Clark County, WA or some twenty dollar bills with the NORJAK serial numbers, they’ll be all over it. I still communicate with Larry Carr occasionally, but it’s more personal in nature than professional.

So, the changes at the FBI bring me to the “Sci-Team” (Tom Kaye and company).

The Sci-Team has no funding (and as far as I know, never had). The FBI is no longer working with them (based on the above). After the Nat-Geo debacle, they (the members) have become much more conservative in regard to what they share publically (and with me). I doubt there will ever be the “Paper in a refereed journal” as initially promised. This is due to outside circumstances, not personal (or group) failure. They have uncovered a lot of information that wasn’t known during the initial investigation (mostly based on modern technologies that weren’t available in the 1970s. I have an opinion about the Sci-Team and I cannot (will not) share with you what forms my opinion. But I will go on record as saying; “I believe the Sci-Team advanced the understanding of who/what DB Cooper was more in 1.5 years than the FBI did in 37 years. I believe that given enough support (financial and otherwise) they will solve the mystery.” But alas, they all have day-jobs and aren’t spending the resources on the investigation that they once were.

And finally, there is a young solder (a US Army infantryman currently serving in Iraq and stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington) who is planning a “boots-on-the-ground” search with several colleagues when he returns state-side for R&R this summer.

He is young, energetic, smart, and digs deeply to understand before acting. On the negative side, he values my opinion
That is the “state-of-affairs” right now. If this thread will simmer down, we might attract the three book authors (and others) to post here and share where they are heading with their research.

How would the science team solve the case with more funding? They might find more Cooper money at Tena Bar or perhaps in other dredge spoils but how would that ID Cooper? Unless you find his body or unopened rig how do you know his fate much less his ID?

It's pure speculation but so much about the aviation part of Norjack (727 jumps, rainy night HAHOs, etc) ties back to SE Asia mil and spook ops in the 60s. I keep wondering about a link.

I have all of my communications with the company who took me to WA in May of 2001

EMAILS to the PRODUCER:

One of the most important of these communications includes everything I have maintained and Jerry has disputed.

I talk about the side trip and The Dalles. I tell her that we crossed over the Columbia to Hwy 14 and that he told me about the Bridge of the Gods.I mention turning off of hwy 14 and tell her about this this big body of water Duane took me to after turning North off of Hwy 14.

I tell her about the tower and logging camp and the cottage remnants on and near this body of water. All in this email of May 1, 2001...before I went to WA on the 2ed.

I tell about fire (?) tower and a logging camp. A prison with a high fence around it and what I thought was a camp grounds. Then I mention the Baldy and then we go to 500 - and what he said about a car being left there. I also tell her about Dollar Corner and Duane knowing someone there.

I am specific about the cottages and the cabin being in the Wasgougal area...and I had been told it belonged to an old School teacher by a historian there and it had been torn down,
Never knew if the historian and the second hand information was correct.

At any rate you get the jest of what was said in that email prior to the trip I made in May of 2001. I do refer to this body of water being the Columbia because Jerry "told" me it had to be the Columbia - never mentioning Lake LaCames. He tells me that Duane turned me around.

I am specific in the email that we turned off of Hwy 14 and Duane thinking he had missed his turn.I say mention we do end up on another body of water (a wide body of water) one which I called the Columbia because Jerry DRILLED and DRILLED into me that Duane had to HAVE TURN ME AROUND AND TAKEN ME BACK TO THE COLUMBIA.

No one took me to Lake LaCames because they like myself had been told it had to be the Columbia River. But any one knowing that area would have taken me to the lake. I knew what the Washougal looked and and was adamant those cottages and that old house was not on the Washougal.

As for monies exchanging hands - no. She mentions in a prior email that H- doesn't want to give away his time and they intend to pay us 500 apiece. I inform her I do NOT want any monies as it would compromise my credibility and to use it for the research and trip.

If you all wish for me "to keep digging thru the files" for more validations of my story - I will do so. I have not been out of my nightgown all day and did not go to sleep until around 5:30 AM this morning awaking at 12:30 PM.

I do correct her in some information later on in another email. She was under the impression there was a witness in the room when Duane confessed. My next email tells her the same thing I have repeated over and over...that it was not until the mention of the bucket that another party was present. Since she had been talking to Jerry I expect that is where the information came from or it could have been reported in an article on in the media that way...why I do not deal with the media anymore.

The driver was a guy named Jamison - who picked me up at the airport.

PS: I did just NOW go back and read the posts - I agree with all of you, but please understand I fought for my honor and the truth. Call me anything, but a liar.
I hate a liar and how I was raised.

The "white" lies I have HAD to tell...to be nice and to protect others are even difficult for me...but I do it - because it is the right thing to do. I am not witty or diplomatic enough like others to be able to change the subject and walk around it. A trait I will die with - it does not make friends!

I have something I need to scan and post. Wish there was a way to make it read as text - it will be my farewell gift.
