QuoteGeoger. George Nuttall says it was a J edgar Hoover Conspiracy and the FBI has continued it for the past 40yrs.Otherwise why would they wait 2yrs to post the serial # list for the money. And the life time of a $20 dollar bill is 18 t0 24 months. The Banks was given the lists with in a week. Jerry
Over the signature of J. Edgar Hoover, a list of the serial numbers of the bills were posted and transmitted on November 29, 1971 which is just five days after the hi-jacking. How does Nuttall come up with two years?
A copy of the Hoover letter of transmittal is on page 128 of Tosaw's book and the serial numbers are on the following pages of that book.

and yet 290 of them turned up at Tina Bar
9 years later albeit in somewhat used condition.

QuoteJo I am on the phone with George Nuttall Right now.He Says his research shows Duane was not Cooper and could never have been. Does any one have a question for George. I will ask thim and post the answers as he gives them through out our conversation right away.Jerry
Ask Nuttall this:
Does he think the Cooper Hijacking had a Cuban
connection?
Here is a fact: Three members of the group
"Republic of New Afrika" who had killed a New
Mexico State Policeman on November 8 hijacked
TWA Flight 106 on Nov 24 1971, a Boeing 727
flight from Albuquerque to Havana. They landed
at Tampa where passengers were released before
flying on to Havana.
One of the passangers said there was talk about
taking the plane to Mexico City ...
Ask Nuttall if he thinks Cooper had a Cuban
connection?

QuoteGeoger. My rocket scientist states that the life exspectency of a 20 dollar bill in circulation is 18 to 24 months. Or should I have said it doesen't take a rocket scientest to figure that out.
Nature is more gentle with money than
people are! Homo sapiens should take a lesson.

This section contains the complaint filed against the pair who was scamming that author about being DB Cooper by showing several twenty dollar bills with matching serial numbers (page 22, o/a 1 Feb 1972). Additionally, the fraudulent story claimed that Cooper was an employee of Northwest which the FBI investigated as part of obtaining evidence against these criminals.

Without parsing everything to the sub-atomic level, it would appear that the serial numbers were available relatively early and the FBI did in fact investigate airline employees as potential suspects.
